Founder, People vs. Radon

Cary Hatch is the former CEO of MDB Communications, a Washington, DC-based marketing and communications firm. In 2024, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer — a non-smoker whose home had elevated radon levels.

That diagnosis became the catalyst for People vs. Radon, a public awareness initiative dedicated to educating Americans about the silent, invisible threat of radon gas.
